Warranty
Klättermusen offer high-quality equipment for outdoor activities and strive to make you feel safe and satisfied with our products. All Klättermusen products are covered by a product lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects during the normal life span of the product.
What does product lifetime warranty mean?
Products covered by the warranty are fully covered during the practical life of the product. This does not imply your life span. The product lifetime warranty applies against manufacturing defects, and not damage caused by the wearer of the product or normal wear and tear.
Products covered by our warranty will be repaired or replaced at no cost. At Klättermusen, we do our best to minimise our footprint on the environment. Therefore, we always prefer to repair the product whenever possible.
What does normal wear and tear mean?
All Klättermusen products are made to last, but nothing lasts forever. Equipment that is used frequently and in harsh conditions wears out faster than products that are used sporadically. Signs of age and wear, such as faded fabric or worn cuffs, are natural and are considered in the warranty assessment.
Sometimes this means that the product has reached the end of its useful life and needs to be replaced. We hope that you will always have confidence in Klättermusen equipment to protect you on your next adventure.
What is included in the warranty?
– The warranty applies to products in their original, unaltered form
– Products purchased on Klättermusen's website or in our stores
– Manufacturing defects (often noticeable after very little use)
What is not included in the warranty?
– Normal wear and tear
– Improper use, improper care or accidents
– Defects as a result of transportation (except for initial transport from Klättermusen to customer)
– Any type of contact with pointed or hard objects, compression, or other occurrences beyond Klättermusen's reasonable control
– The warranty will be void if you sell or give away the product. Proof of purchase may be required.
Repairs
Klättermusen offer repairs free of charge for products covered by our warranty. For products that are not covered by our warranty, we offer repairs for a fixed hourly rate.
Once we receive your request, we will evaluate the product and let you know how to proceed. Products must be washed, and if the defect is not covered by the warranty, you will receive a quote before repair.
Claims
We always prioritise repairs if possible, otherwise full or partial compensation will be made depending on the damage. Full compensation means getting a refund or receiving a replacement product.

Products purchased from our retailers
Unfortunately, we do not handle inquiries for products purchased from our retailers. We ask you to contact the retailer you purchased the product from. They, in turn, will help you with an evaluation and handle your case.
