For Klättermusen
For our historical, first-ever Klättermusen collaboration, we teamed up with renowned artist Britta Marakatt-Labba. Britta’s embroidered art revolves around Sámi mythology and its rich storytelling culture. Rooted in craftsmanship, her stories pierce through states of consciousness like a needle through carefully selected fabrics. Britta’s work guides us through Sámi history’s landscapes of the past, present, and everything around. The ‘Britta Marakatt-Labba for Klättermusen’ collection is a shared devotion to true craftsmanship, heritage, and our environment.
We travelled to the outskirts of Kiruna, northern Sweden, and gathered friends and family of Britta to exhibit the collection. With their strong connection to the region and the Sámi community, we couldn’t think of anyone better to help us bring the synergy of Britta’s art and Klättermusen’s craftsmanship into the light.
